Editor – I am responding to an article in last week’s edition on page 6, called ‘Massive potholes pop up all around town’.
Potholes are a very serious issue and cause serious damage to vehicles. There are potholes all around town that have been reported and have yet to be fixed by the municipality.
In the last couple of years, our roads have steadily gotten worse and more dangerous due to lack of maintenance, and this is putting all motorists in danger. Possibly pedestrians too!
Our town is truly becoming a shadow of what it used to be and residents such as myself have a right to speak up about the terrible state of Ladysmith. If we don’t, well then we might as well watch as more potholes form.
