Tourism could help Ladysmith recapture its former glory

It would be great to see the tourism industry flourishing once again

Editor – It is clear to see that service delivery is an issue in this town, but money can definitely be made from tourism. Ladysmith is a central point due to the battles that took place here in the Anglo-Boer and Anglo-Zulu wars, and we are fortunate to have many historic landmarks still standing.

However, the municipality are letting these historic places go to waste.

It would be great to see the tourism industry flourishing once again and then maybe the town would be able to return to its former glory.
