Editor – Illegal dumping has taken over our town. So many streets in Ladysmith are left in a filthy mess.
It is really disgusting.
I plead to all residents to stop illegal dumping on street corners and in unauthorised places. It is unhygienic and poses a health risk to residents.
As a community, we need to work together to keep our town clean, as it reflects on all of us.
As much as the municipality has a responsibility to keep our town clean, we also have a part to play.
It is so embarrassing when tourists visit our town and see this filthy mess.
We are adults as well and know what is wrong and right.
So let’s do the right thing and that is to keep Ladysmith clean.
