Editor – I want to extend a huge thank you to the doctors who were on duty at Ladysmith Provincial Hospital last Monday night.
I was suffering with pains on the right hand side of my tummy. After work, I went to Dr Kassim, who was extremely helpful and supportive. Dr Kassim, you are the best!
I want to praise him for taking time out of his busy schedule to explain an operation I might have to undergo and for all the good advice.
Dr Kassim, you are genuinely an angel sent from Heaven to help.
After consulting with Dr Kassim, he referred me to Ladysmith Provincial Hospital for more treatment and X-rays, as he suspected that my appendix was the problem.
On arrival at the hospital, I was greeted by a friendly doctor by the name of Dr Aashiq, who was very helpful. Another doctor, Dr Roy, was amazing.
I am petrified of needles and knowing that I had to get a drip, I panicked more. But with Dr Roy’s friendly approach and warm smile, I hardly felt any pain.
Doctor Ayanda (I didn’t get her surname) was also very friendly and helpful.
To the doctors who were in Casualty that night, I want to extend a big thank you for ALL your help and for making me feel better. Many thanks.
