Time to rid Estcourt of corruption

You might not be caught but people in this town are aware of your corrupt nature

Surprisingly, I was not shocked to read last week’s front page story titled ‘Hawks pounce on traffic officer and two accomplices.’

My mind set was one of ‘it’s about time.’ There is widespread corruption in government departments in Estcourt with some individuals giving their departments and colleagues a really bad name.

What some government officials don’t realise is that Estcourt is a small town and when you’re accepting bribes and taking shortcuts, you’re bound to be spoken about.

You might not be caught but people in this town are aware of your corrupt nature. I think that it is high time that senior investigating units start to clean up Estcourt and rid it of corruption.
