They took away ‘free’ and left us with ‘dom.’ That is why our position is the way it is.
Classified from Khoisan to coloured forcefully by the old government. This was done to change the Khoisan’s identity to steal their land, livestock and everything they owned.

They took away the freedom of our forefathers and killed them in numbers, slaved them under classification, threw them into townships and removed them forcefully from their farms and land, which is now owned by other races.

Now the time has come and we will radically transform the Khoisan history, along with their heritage and historical landmarks.

This democracy will accept us or reject us but history will unfold, so government must not wait for this to happen.
Nowhere in the world has such an injustice been done.
We have had dialogue with government, we have been obedient but now what is rightfully ours will be taken, nothing more; nothing less.
If government does not end this inhumane treatment, we will go to the Constitutional Court and do away with this false identity.
Our claims for our heritage and historical landmarks must be handed over to our Khoisan Development Trust, which has been formed already. Our Khoisan Traditional Leadership Bill is on its way and will empower the Khoisan communities.
Khoisan empowerment is on the dawn of the day and government can only find favour with the Khoisan people as government delivers and allows justice to prevail.
Now you will see Khoisan people in the workplace. You will also see them on television, you will hear them on radio and you will find them working in government departments.
Khoisan empowerment will be equal to other empowerment. Our trust was formed; now our provincial Khoisan Council will be formed, followed by an advisory council.
This gives us the power to govern. Let us share and live together and together we can do more.
