Oversight and overview of religion in our country has allowed the Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural‚ Religious and Linguistic Communities (CRL) Commissioner Raymond Trollip to see a lot of strange practices.
Some of the actions taken in the name of religion are dividing communities, causing hatred in different little groups, even worse in politics.

Secondly due to the lack of knowledge, anointing, being accountable to a body or spiritual father has caused church groups to disgrace the church of Christ because all this is done in the name of Jesus or God.
False practices are being born daily. Christianity is becoming a joke. Demons are driving this process while people become victims of this satanic drive. Our communities are being taken for a ride.
The word says ‘my people perish because of the lack of knowledge of the word of God’, the CRL will undertake self-regulation of all religions. If this does not happen in the name of religion, people will be killing people.
In the name of religion, communities are torn apart. This tells one that the body of Christ is not united. Christianity should lead by example but yet strange practices are done by Christians.

The CRL will look into the reputation of all churches and other religions. Those that just open churches will account by showing your Bible School certificate or your experience under your spiritual father or denomination.
You will also have to show books with your non-profit organisation, screened by the South African Revenue Service (SARS), your financial statements, bank accounts and a board appointed.
If none of these can be found, the CRL will be in a position to shut you down, allow the people to go elsewhere. The wrongs that the church is doing will be criminal and charges can be enforced and the Hawks appointed.
Know one thing, this is not a ‘Banana Republic’, things are changing fast and a clean-up is coming, get yourself organised. If you come forward, we as Commissioners are willing to help you to comply but mocking the body of Christ is not welcome.
