Through the medium of your newspaper I would like to thank Uthukela District Municipality for their efficiency on June 2 and 3.

I reported a sewage leakage in Aloe Street. I did make two calls on Saturday to a lady by the name of Thandeka who assured me that it would be taken care of.
Unfortunately the problem was not attended to, however on Sunday, June 3; I called at 8.30am to report the matter again.
Thandeka received my call; of course I introduced myself as the previous caller. Two hours later Uthukela was in Aloe Street and the problem was sorted out.
A heartfelt thank you to Thandeka and the workers who responded efficiently. There are people out there who do their jobs professionally, with efficiency and it is much appreciated.
