I want to congratulate the municipality on AT LAST doing something about the mess at the house in Brewitt Road.
Well done, that was a long time coming and has at last something has been done about the mess of all the glass and rubbish there. I have lived in Estcourt since 1970 and just after the owners bought that house, they have been causing trouble/problems.

First they dug out so much sand in the yard that the road nearly collapsed and then they took up this bottle collecting.
I also know that they had/have a piece of ground on the Loskop road. If they have sold it or not in the meantime I do not know but surely they could have moved the business there a long time ago.

He/they keep saying they are getting a piece of land – surely it does not take so long to buy a piece of ground?
Now all the municipality has to do is get rid of the owner of the transport business or rather the transport business that is being run from Brewitt Park.
The trucks are up and down the road in front of my house at all hours of the day and night. Actually it is rather more during the night and then they seem to leave at 3 or 4 o’clock in the morning again. This person should also move out of a residential area to an industrial area of town.
He seems to move from house to house around town I am sure it is because the residents complain and then he moves – just to pop up somewhere else in town. Think about it please those in the know in the municipality and maybe we can slowly but surely get the residential area of Estcourt residential again.
I would also like to say thank you to the workers who were cleaning the gutters and side walk in Hellet Road.
Well done, at least the five or six of you that were there were all working – not like the statues that we have in Wembezi where there are 10 or more and only one person is working. Keep up the good work and we might just win here.
