An English class task required learners to write about their favourite educator.

This was when grade five leaner Zandisiwe Mkhize from Riverdale Primary School in Esigodlweni wrote about me.

One of the things she mentioned was that when I teach her, she just ‘wants to hold me.’ I was touched when I read this and I made myself available to give her a hug.

I love my grade fives and want to encourage them to keep up the good work.
