I would like to express my sincerest thanks to the Dundee SAPS, in particular, Constable Myane, Warrant Officer Zungu and Investigating Officer Manyathela. We were the unfortunate victims of a burglary at our business premises in Cornhill Street after hours on Wednesday, June 20.
The incident was reported to the Dundee SAPS on Thursday, June 21, after discovering that we had been burgled. On Friday, June 22, I was called to the Dundee Police Station to identify items which were recovered from a suspect and was delighted to be able to positively identify the toolbox and tools as some of those which had been stolen from us during the burglary.
It is hopeful and encouraging to know that there are police officials who take their role in society seriously, and will go above and beyond the call of duty.
May others learn from the example set by these officials.
