LETTER: ‘Bon voyage and good luck in Dubai to Sibusiso Thabete’

Educators are tops. They feed the next generation of bright brains who in their turn will further develop and prosper this country of ours.

Madam –

What a wonderful scoop for our young Sibusiso Thabete, who is but a humble educator, to be invited to jet off to Dubai to participate in the Dubai International Schools Awards!

Surely this is an indication of how well our educators are considered overseas, so no more of this nay-saying of our teacher training systems.

Here is living proof of the quality of educators we train and this just shows we have the best! I feel that the youth of today do not take cognisance of the importance of an educator of high calibre in their lives.

Bearing in mind that the child spends 6 hours a day, 5 days a week in close proximity to these educators.

Fair to say that their passive thoughts, ideals and attitudes will rub off on these learners – so any parent would obviously wish for the best educator to be their child`s mentor.

Educators are tops. They feed the next generation of bright brains who in their turn will further develop and prosper this country of ours.

Sibusiso carry our South African fly high and show them in Dubai just what calibre of educator you are and what calibre you represent and bring the top award back with you.

Bon voyage and good luck.
