Resident grateful for swift municipal action

'They then drove off without any thought of the damage caused or cost of repairs'.

Please allow me, through the medium of your publication, to express my gratitude towards the AbaQulusi Municipality.
On Tuesday (January 14), a motorist drove into the electric pole on the pavement outside my house, breaking the pole, my driveway’s paving, and tripping the electricity supply.
They then drove off without any thought of the damage caused or cost of repairs.
Regardless, Ken Tupper of the AbaQulusi Municipality was on the scene within ten minutes and arranged for the power to be restored and the broken pole replaced. As a result, our electricity supply was restored by municipal workers within the hour (thank you, Mike and your team), who also undertook to replace the broken pole the following day. One cannot ask for better service than that.
