Is Dannhauser aiming to be the new Venice?

In Dannhauser, we have plenty of water as well, it just happens to be running down the streets...

Sir – I see Dundonians are complaining, understandably so, about the lack of water in the taps despite the Buffalo River flowing strongly.

In Dannhauser, we have plenty of water as well, it just happens to be running down the streets whenever you look for it. It’s almost a daily occurrence to find water running from a burst pipe or sewer overflow and this continues for days on end.

One theory for this is that Dannhauser is trying to be the Venice of Northern KwaZulu-Natal, hence all the water in the streets. If this is the aim, then tourism is bound to pick up. If not, then why isn’t something being done about it?

What happened to basic service delivery? Has it gone down the drain?
