Bumper arm wrestling night at Squires
The winners in the professional category were Wian De Bruin, who scooped up first prize, followed by Jabulani Shezi with second prize, and Marius de Waal with third prize. Amateur category winners were Sibusiso Miya with first prize, followed by Rivaan Ramsai with second prize and Jerome Mthetwa with third prize. Ladies were also given a chance to show off their muscles, and the winners of the ladies' category were Cindy Jacobs (first), followed by Lydia De Waal, and then Sheryl Ragubeer.
Right and left hooks, locks and muscles were the central themes at Squires this Saturday when the Iron Arm Wrestling competition took place. The competition was instigated by Reshal Singh, who aims to share his love for the sport with the youth.
The competition was made up of two phases: professional and amateur arm-wrestling. The professional category catered for people who have competed in national competitions, such as the likes of Wian De Bruin, Jabulani Shezi and Marius de Waal.
