The cricketing action is nearing its climax but that hasn’t slowed down the big hitting. The semi finals for the T20 Night League have been decided and promises to be action packed.
Molls vs Ace Eagles – T20
Ace Eagles batted first and made 112 all out. Razak made 26 and Bilaal made 21.
Carl was extremely economical as he took 4/3 while Wilfred took 2/31. In reply Molls were bowled out for only 66. Sakkie made 13 and Corne made 8.
Zaza and Waheed were in fine form taking 3/11 and 4/11 respectively helping Ace Eagles to an easy victory.
Endumeni Development vs Pakistan Lions – T20
Endumeni batted first and made 115/7 in their allotted overs. Mzwai top scored with 41 while Mfundo made 26. Ishfak took 3/9 while Ashraf took 2/21. In reply Pakistan Lions made the score with 4 wickets in hand and 2 overs to spare. Kamran made 26 and Adeel made 23. Zeze took 2/9 and Nathaniel took 2/24 but it was not enough to secure victory.
Molls vs Brothers United – 30 Overs
Brothers United batted first making 197 all out. Yusheer was in devastating form once again, making 60 while Avish chipped in with 23. William took 3/24 and Jurie took 2/55. In reply Molls were bowled out for 99 with Daniel making 23 and Corne making 18. Haroon took 4/16 and Tevin took 3/25. The recent results have meant that Ace Eagles top the T20 log with 10 points with Molls closely behind with 9.
Endumeni Development are in third with 8 points with Mascor rounding up the top 4 with 6 points.
On Wednesday, Molls and Endumeni will contest the first semi at the Oval at 6pm while on Friday, Macor and Ace Eagles will face each other in the other semi.
