Vryheid Bowling Club – Bowlers undeterred by icy weather

OUR Annual Spring Tournament was held on September 5 and 6, despite the rain and freezing weather, which made it feel more like a Winter Tournament.
Nonetheless, we saw some good bowls. The committee would like to thank all our sponsors and the participating teams. Without you, we could not have had such a successful weekend.
We congratulate the winners, Russell Morgan, Brian and Anita Scott and Jane Douglas from Richards Bay. In second place were Fritz and Marie Botha and Sue and Trevor Hutchinson from Newcastle. Third was Odette Hamman and team from Pongola and fourth was Nolan Malan, Trevor Schefermann, Ron James and Willie Van Jaarsveldt from Vryheid.
