Golfers make it a monthly affair at Kilbarchan Golf Club
According to management of Kilbarchan Golf Club in a previous interview, the competition is sponsored by Fred Lovelock and served as a fundraiser for the club’s upkeep.
Competition was hot at the Fred Lovelock Monthly Mug on Saturday.
With winds blowing strong, the small field of golfers who arrived at Kilbarchan Golf Club had their work cut out for them.

However, the spirit of camaraderie prevailed.
According to management of Kilbarchan Golf Club in a previous interview, the competition is sponsored by Fred Lovelock and served as a fundraiser for the club’s upkeep.
The winners are determined by gross score less handicap.
Once the scores were tallied, Hannes Liebenberg Jnr was the day’s winner ahead of Johannie Schreuder in second and Ben Chowles on third.
