Kevin had the highest turn over rate during the 2018 season, an achievement that could make him the next Schalk Burger of South African rugby!
Kevin Johnson, Sarel Cilliers old boy, has proved that the Never Surrender attitude is not just applicable to school but also to life.
Currently studying in Bloemfontein at the University of the Free State for a Bachelors in Education, Kevin has also been playing rugby for the Griffons u/20 Rugby Team. Being a Provincial team they took part in the SARU u20 National Championship, otherwise known as the Currie Cup.
The team is unbeaten this year and on Friday lifted the trophy in the final, beating the Pumas from Mpumalanga.

only has one word to summarise all of this, “Sacrifice”.
True commitment is shown by this young man and hopes that his rugby career goes from strength to strength and that he will achieve much greater heights than what he is already doing.
