A fitting highlight of a very tough season for both Breakwaters and Stillwaters AC culminated with the hosting of the annual general meeting combined with the prize-giving and awards function.

The high flyers of both clubs received their accolades.

However, the standout angler was renowned angler Monty Slabbert (Breakwaters AC) who took home the Angler of the Year, Knockout Champion, Heaviest Scaled Fish Category (carp of 4,384 kg), and Senior Angler of the Year awards.

Ruchir Buduram had an excellent season capturing the Social Outing (Scaled Category), KO Singles Champion, Highest Point Scorer Trophy and the League Champion titles.

Other title holders were:

  • Heaviets Non-Scaled Fish: Nisharl Maharaj (Barbel 9,835 kg)

However, Breakwaters AC struck gold in the final competition of the season, triumphing over Dannhauser AC for the title of Grand Challenge Champion.
