For the next 10 weeks, squash enthusiasts from all walks of life will battle for the title of “Best Singles Player” with the launch on September 23 of the Newcastle Squash Club’s highly anticipated singles league at the Old Iscor Sports Grounds.

A total of 72 members have entered the epic showdown, with fierce competition and an electric atmosphere.

Although small compared to big city clubs, the Newcastle Squash Club’s members have grown significantly in the past few years.

The committee encourages the public to come and join this ‘family’ as long-lasting bonds are forged through sport and camaraderie.
