The RBCA Chartered Accountant Super League continued on Sunday, delivering another thrilling round of football.
Blue Rovers and Legends played out a stunner, with both sides missing golden chances. Disappointingly, the game ended in a goalless draw.
The sparks truly flew when Zim Stars locked horns with Malawi FC in a high-tempo encounter packed with aggression, intensity, and no shortage of drama.
Malawi FC stormed into an early lead, capitalising on Zim Stars’ characteristically slow start.
Malawi doubled their advantage on the stroke of half-time and looked to be firmly in control.
In the second half, Malawi added a third goal and appeared to have sealed victory. However, their confidence soon turned to complacency as they lost discipline on the field.
Zim Stars seized the moment, made key changes, and began to fight back. In a stunning turnaround, they scored three goals in just 15 minutes to level the match.
They then went on to net a fourth, running out victorious by four goals to three.
There will be no league fixtures this weekend as teams participate in the WMF Tournament.
The RBCA Chartered Accountants are also organising an exciting Super Knockout Tournament. Keep an eye on the press for more details in the coming weeks.
