Dekkers prepare for first race of World BMX Championships in the USA

Hold thumbs as our Dundee lads prepare to take on the best in the world!

Father and son BMX team, Grant and Justin Dekker, on Sunday completed their first practice rounds ahead of their first races at the World Championships in  Rockhill which is 40  kilometres from Charlotte, South Carolin, in the USA.

Chatting to the Courier from the USA, Grant described the track as short and fast.

“Not as long as last year. in Colomobia. Very tight racing.  First practice done. Justin looking comfortable and fast, I feeling strong. Track is good and fast .”
