Go-karting in town

It was action galore as the little adrenaline junkies took the bends at high speed in their miniature, high-tech machines

Youngsters were spotted roaring around on go-karts on a makeshift track at the Game shopping centre over the weekend.

It was action galore as the little adrenaline junkies took the bends at high speed in their miniature, high-tech machines. Andrea Rambelli, who go-karts professionally, was there to train young aspiring drivers from Ladysmith.

Among those taking part were Andrea’s two sons, Nicco and Luca Rambelli, who are between the age of seven and nine years old. All of the boys being trained will be going down to Pietermaritzburg soon to hone their skills on a proper race track. The track in PMB is used professionally and the aim is for the youngsters to be registered so as to take part in competitions.
