Siphamandla muscles his way to the top

Muscle-bound Siphamandla Mbatha thanks those who helped to sponsor his trip to Durban, where he competed in the recent East Coast Bodybuilding Classic recently.
He is a well-known body builder in his home town, Sithembile, and is continuously making a name for himself as he proves to many that what he does is not just showing off but is also his love and passion.
He has participated in  several competitions from 2009 to 2011, including the Novis Championship, where he won the title.

During the East Coast Bodybuilding Classic competition in the U/23 Junior Division, he finished in second position. Here he competed against many other young men from all over KwaZulu-Natal.
He said this competition was just a warm-up prior to the H&H competition to be hosted in Johannesburg on July 19. Siphamandla is hoping to receive financial assistance once again for the competition.
He said he has had lots of criticism from people in his home town, but he says he does not care what other people think of the sport.
“I love what I do, and it has saved me from all sort of negative things that young men my age get up to. Besides, training helps me maintain my healthy body,” Siphamandla said.
