Hussein Malek from Malek’s Service Station and Ebrahim Buckus from Buckus Sand represented their passion as well as their town, when they attended a track day hosted by DY Performance on November 15. A track day is an organised event in which non-members are allowed to drive around an established motor racing circuit. It was certainly a day to be treasured as they entered the Old Roy Hesketh Raceway in Pietermaritzburg. Epic would be the exact description of the event, as cars flooded in from all regions. There was an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement as car engines revved, exhausts puffed smoke and tyres screeching as they do their laps around the track.
