Vryheid Squash Club – World Cup is heating up
Please note that the Vryheid Squash Club AGM will be held on Wednesday, March 25 at 6:00pm at the club. We would like to request that all our members be present.
THE Squash World Cup is heating up!
The players are giving their best in their individual games for their team. Results from the second week are as follows: Tuesday, March 3: Pakistan beat India 14-6 and England beat New Zealand 12 – 5; Wednesday, March 4: Australia beat Bangladesh 14 – 7 and West Indies beat Sri Lanka 10 – 9. Next week’s fixtures are as follows: Tuesday, March 24: Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka and New Zealand vs Pakistan; Wednesday, March 25: West Indies vs Australia and England vs India.
The current standings are: Australia 26; Pakistan 25; Sri Lanka 21; West Indies 20; England 19; Bangladesh 16; New Zealand 11 and India 10.
