Racers take on Volkrust

Four Newcastle drivers participated in their respective classes at the Volkrust Raceway on Saturday April 11.

Tiaan Buys raced with the Rookies and claimed second position, while his father, Boet Buys did the same in the Tin Top division.

Cathleen de Jager managed a very impressive first place finish in the 1600s division, while Johann de Jager took the third pole position spot in the same division.

Each driver brought home a trophies.

The Newcastle Oval Track congratulates the four racers, and invites the community to witness the action at the tracks on April 25.
