Vryheid Squash Club – ‘Hot’ squash keeps Winter chill at bay
All Thursday evenings are still open to social games for all members. Do join us and bring something to braai.
IT MUST be the hot squash, with the start of the Winter League, that has been keeping the winter cold away.
During the first week the Beanies nearly scored full points, but otherwise the scores were quite close. Here are the first results: May 12: Beanies 14; Scarves 5; Mittens 12 and Jackets 7. May 13: Earmuffs 9; Slippers 7; Boots 11 and Thermals 9.

The Northern Natal Squash candle has also been rekindled recently. On Saturday, May 23, ten of our Vryheid Squash Club players took on ten of Dundee’s players, in Dundee. The matches ended up at five all, but in games, Vryheid Squash Club won 20 – 17 games. Well done to our players for representing us and making us proud!
