Vryheid Squash Club – Pancakes ahead in Blitz Bazaar

The Vryheid Squash Club Championships will be up next after the Blitz Bazaar League! These will start on Monday, October 5. If you are interested in playing, please write your name on the list, which is up on the board at the club.

WE have already passed the halfway mark of the Blitz Bazaar League!

On Tuesday, September 15, the final round will be played and this will be contested between the following teams:

  • Popcorn vs Pancakes;
  • Melktertjies vs Jaffles;
  • Hotdogs vs Doughnuts and
  • Hamburgers vs Koeksisters.

These different foods played each other on August 25, with the following results:

  • Popcorn 6 – Hotdogs 4;
  • Jaffles 9 – Koeksisters 6;
  • Hamburgers 6 – Melktertjies 4;
  • Pancakes 6 – Doughnuts 5.

The current standings are:

  • Pancakes 30;
  • Popcorn 27;
  • Hamburgers 25;
  • Jaffles 24;
  • Koeksisters 21;
  • Melktertjies 21;
  • Doughnuts 18 and
  • Hotdogs 18.

The real Bazaar, where the winners of the Blitz League will be announced and where the Bazaar food will be served, will be taking place on Tuesday, September 22. Please make sure not to miss this great event!
