Success at Flo Tek Golf Day

Flo Tek hosted their golf day at Dundee Country Club on Saturday.
A big thank to Kallie and Lisa Roets for a great day which attracted almost a full field with 76 players taking part.

Winning the 4 BBBS competition was the pairing of Aaron Mbatha and Blessing Chiwaya with 52 points, two points ahead of the brother and sister pairing of Pierre and Elaine Booysen. R Kann and S Khan finished in third place with 48 points.
The novelty prizes for nearest the pin on the par 3’s were won by C Hayward hole no.4, M Els on hole no.8, J Zulu on no.12 and W Wellman on the 16th hole. The hugely successful day was rounded off with the players and their families all enjoying a scrumptious dinner courtesy of the sponsors.
The club looks forward to seeing another big turnout this coming May 14, when the Dundee Pre-Primary School hold their fund raising golf day, the format being 4 BBBS with a scramble drive. May 15, sees the opening rounds of the N. KZN Men’s league for 2016 with our A team and the Frog team travelling to Ladysmith with both our B teams competing at home in their opening fixtures.

On the social front, the Beer Pong tournament held on Friday night turned out to be great evening of fun for everyone with the two miners, Jurie and Michael winning the final against the lady pairing of Natasha and Ronel.
