Time Trials pulls in a doctor from Canada

Well done to all.

2km Ladies Walk: First Lani Van Der Mescht 18m29s (PB) and Nadia Scholtz 23m34s.

3km Mens Walk: Dead Heat for first Pieter Bester, DR Riaan Bester and Siyabonga Mokeona at 26m18s.

3km ladies run: Kholiwe Buthelezi 20m19s.

4km ladies run: First Jacqui Blick 22m19s (PB), second in Dead Heat is Joyce Shabalala and Thobeka Mbatha 31m33s.

4km mens run: First Ayanda Buthelezi 14m28s, second Sanele Buthelezi 17m25s (PB) and Sandile Lamula 26m36s.

8km mens run: First Bongani Sabelo 29m21s, second Lindani Sangweni 30m19s, third Petrus Mavuso 33m22s and fourth is Khetha Nchunu 36m17s.

In the 2km ladies walk, Lani finished first with a personal best (PB) time followed by Nadia. Time Trials were pleased to have Doctor Riaan Bester, all the way from Canada. He took part in the 3km walk event with his brother Pieter Bester and our novice junior walker Siyabonga. All three dead heated and could not be separated at the finishing line. Jacqui is doing well in the ladies 4km run, she won this event followed by Thobeka and Joyce. The Buthelezi brothers dominate the 4km mens run. Ayanda is still recovering from an injury, cantered in to win this event from his younger brother, Sanele, who ran a great race and smashed his PB. Sabelo won the 8km mens race closely followed by Lindani, Petrus and Khetha.
