Players enjoy the course in spring conditions

On Saturday, August 13, the golf club hosted a club competition, with the course in spring treatment condition thanks to Bunn and Owen, it still made enjoyable playing conditions.

Winners on 49 points were Harry Koovarjee and Moekie Ghasitha. Second were Bruce le Roux and Dave Rudderham on 46 points and in third place were Peter Wood and Vaughn Ric Hansen on 43 points.

Closest to the pin on number three was Harry Koovarjee. Two club winners were Gordon Cross on number 13 and Gordon Smith on number 12.
Next Saturday there will be a normal club competition and on Saturday, the 27th the monthly Skaap Dag sponsored by the Mavericks.
Everyone is welcome to join in this wonderful event initiated by Arnie Boettiger. Please watch the notice board at the club for forthcoming events.

To all golfers playing off the ladies tee, please note that you have to forfeit four shots as per National Golfers Union (NGU) rules. Anyone that does not understand the club and NGU rules are requested to see the Club Captain Bunn Hamman.
