Father and daughter win golf
The honours went to the father-and-daughter pairing of Bertie and Nicolette Venter who scored 47 better ball points.

It was great to see, for the first time in a number of weeks, over 30 golfers turning up to compete in the Saturday Club competition, a 4 BBBS event at Dundee Country Club.
The honours went to the father-and-daughter pairing of Bertie and Nicolette Venter who scored 47 better ball points, which saw Bertie shooting an excellent net 66 on the day. Jo Khumalo and his partner, Cyril Mkhwananzi, finished second on 46 points with Sifiso Kunene and Lala Govender taking third place after winning the count out on 45 points.
Six players managed to record a 2 Club on the day, and they were; Bertie Venter and Jo Khumalo on the 4th, Sifiso Kunene at the 8th, Kallie Roets and Walter Du Plessis on the 12th, while Kevin Donaldson recorded a 2 Club on both the 4th and 16th holes.
Henk Booysen was the sole winner of the jackpot after scoring 11 points on the allocated holes to earn himself some extra drinking money.
This weekend’s fixtures: Friday 11 Hole meat Competition, Saturday’s Club competition will be the Multiplication format and on Sunday Dunpro Sports Club will be holding their annual Oriental Golf Day, an Individual Stableford competition.
