Mpati Mountain race held in glorious Spring weather

he 5km walk/run made the event accessible to all who enjoy some Spring exercise.

The Mpati Mountain Race is an annual event in Dundee and is one 15km race enthusiasts do not miss. Like Willie Lemmer, an old Dundonian, and his wife, Hanlie, who made the trek from the Western Cape, to Willie could again compete in what was his 40th Mpati Race!

While the race was won by Durban’s Siphamanlda Nyembe, Biggarsberg’s Bongani Sabela was hot on his heels in second place and Dundee’s own Nandi Mitchell easily won the ladies race although she was in Massmart AC colours.
