Golfers set to battle for the chicken

The next competition is on Friday, November 1, over 10 holes and in the form of an IPS.

The November Mug will be played on Saturday, November 2, in the form of an Individual Medal competition. With the interclub competition over, the club hopes for more players entered.

Dave’s Competition: The competition will be played on Wednesday (October 30) over 11 holes, in the form of an IPS.

Chicken Run: The next competition is on Friday, November 1, over 10 holes and in the form of an IPS. The club thanked those men and women, who traveled to represent the Dundee Country Club at the interclub competition.

Winners of Dave’s Competition on October 23 were Sifiso Kunene on 19 points, with Dan Scholtz second on 17 points. The club also thanks its visitor, Casper Troskie, who played in the Chicken Run this past Friday. He was holed out on Hole 4 – well done! The winners were as follows: Pieter Pypers Jnr on a good 25 points, with Dan Scholtz second on a good 23 points.

World Cup Rugby: Come and watch the Springboks versus England Rugby World Cup final on Saturday. There will be snacks and braai fires will be light and pap and sous will be supplied by the Golf Club.

Just bring along your meat and your supporters’ jersey and come and enjoy a wonderful morning with great rugby fans.
