Bowls put on hold amid state of disaster

"More bowls will follow once the pandemic calms down, for which we all hope and pray for."

Due to the coronavirus pandemic which has gripped the world, all bowls competitions scheduled to take place from now until the end of April have been postponed.

Dundee’s district players have returned from their respective competitions, after a very enjoyable week of bowls at the Bowls South Africa Inter-District Competition.

The women’s A side, represented by Rita and Taryn, ended eighth in their section. The women played against ex-Dundonian, Nan Roos and her team from Eden as well as Protea bowlers, Colleen Picketh, Nicky Neal and Esme Kruger. The B side men, represented by Greg, also ended eighth in their section.
