Gene records the perfect golfing fluke
Through a combination of skill and luck, Gene played the perfect shot on Hole 8.

Dave’s Competition, played on Wednesday, March 18 over 11 holes in the form of an IPS, was won by Jo Khumalo on 27 points. In second was Sibusiso Mthembu on 25 points, counted out from Dan Scholtz. Well done to Gene Robson on his hole-in-one on Hole 8.
The Chicken Run played on Friday, March 20, over 10 holes in the Individual Stableford format, was won by Loraine de Wit on 24 points and in second was Dan Scholtz on 22 points.
Flotek Golf Day postponed: The club would like to apologise for the postponement day of the competition, to a date still to be set. Check the press and the Pro Shop.
Club Competition: The club would like to thank all those who played on Saturday, March 21. The Club Competition was played in the form of an Individual Stableford and was won by Wessel Odendaal on a good 43 points, followed by Cyril Mkhwanazi on 42 points. In third on 40 points was Jo Khumalo, counted out from Pierre Booysen, while fifth was claimed by Wayne Bezuidenhout on 39 points and sixth Billy Francis, counted out from Gene Robson.
Two clubs were carded by Pierre Booysen on Hole 4, K Donaldson on Hole 8 and Scelo Ndlovu on Hole 16. The Jackpot was won by Dan Scholtz on 11 points. Coenie Munro played the longest drive on Hole 17, which won him a prize sponsored by Ingudlane Lodge. He thanked the lodge for the reception and service he received there.
The next Dave’s Competition will take place on Wednesday, March 25, over 11 holes in the form of an Individual Stableford. The Chicken Run will take place on Friday, March 27, over 10 holes in the form of an Individual Stableford.
