Golfers take up the Mavericks’ challenge

A challenge was set for the golfers last Saturday, which went off well and attracted a big field.

Club captain Arnold Boettiger tees off at Saturday’s golf challenge.

The green-keeper was happy to show off the greens to the 44 golfers who took on the challenge.

It was an enjoyable day spent on the course.

It was also a sad day for our club, as we lost a vibrant and cheerful soul, Cass Mather. The committee and members send their deepest condolences to the Mather family.

The club thanks the Mavericks for an enjoyable challenge.
