Virtual coaching is the new ‘normal’

The next webinar will be on August 22 when Neil Tovey, ex-Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs captain

Virtual sports and coaching is the new ‘normal’ during the Covid-19 pandemic, which resulted in no school sport and no coaching either.
Coaches are looking for alternative ways to keep their athletes active and fit. Zoom lessons and webinars have become a reality in maintaining a connection between athletes and their coaches. A national communications company has organised experts from around South Africa to talk on a number of coaching aspects, including training schedules, coaching techniques, mind power, health and wellness, fitness and injury prevention, to name but a few. The webinars are free of charge and take place every second Saturday, featuring different experts in sporting codes. The next webinar will be on August 22 when Neil Tovey, ex-Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs captain, will be talking about his career and international developments in soccer.
