DUNDEE – Mpati Mountain Race cancelled due to Covid-19
The Mpati Mountain Race was scheduled to take place this coming weekend, on September 12
The 44th annual Mpati Mountain Walk will not go ahead this year, as the Covid-19 pandemic continues to affect local sports.
The decision made to cancel this year’s event is in line with the Athletics South Africa directive regarding fixtures and programmes during the pandemic.
The Mpati Mountain race was scheduled to take place this coming weekend, on September 12. The annual event, hosted by Biggarsberg Athletics Club, has always been a huge sporting attraction, drawing athletes from far and wide.
It is also a popular social event, providing a chance for families and friends to get together and enjoy a walk or a run.
