Weston is the 2014/2015 Sunfoil Schools Night League champions

The school also received a congratulatory letter from Sibonelo, the KwaZulu-Natal Inland Cricket Union's Manager: Youth Cricket.

Weston started their 20th annual Cricket Festival on a triumphant note having been crowned the champions Sunfoil Schools Night League 2014/2015 season in the Secondary Schools Category.
The team was led to victory by their captain, grade 10 learner Matthew Bauer, who is also captaining the Weston team at the festival. Michael took over the captaincy earlier this year from his older brother and Weston headboy Michael. The school also received a congratulatory letter from Sibonelo, the KwaZulu-Natal Inland Cricket Union’s Manager: Youth Cricket. He not only congratulated the team on their win but also expressed the hope that their victory would be the foundation for a great cricket season. He praised the Principal, cricket coaching staff and parents for their support to the Weston team.
KwaZulu-Natal Inland School’s Cricket has also sponsored a team to participate in the tournament. The team members come from a number of inland schools, including Alex, Ladysmith, Carter, Grace College and Dundee.
Traditional rivals Weston, Treverton and Howick are all participating in the tournament.
