Schools show soccer prowess

Thabiso from Ephangweni Primary School was the highest goal scorer of the tournament and Sechaba from Zola Primary was player of the tournament

Despite the wet and cold weather on Saturday, young soccer players made their way to Lambert Park to participate in the Moola’s Fashion House Soccer Tournament. 16 school teams entered and there was plenty of action as the young players showed their soccer prowess.

Winners of the tournament were Ezamukuthula Primary School, in second place was Muntuza Primary, third place went to Zola Primary and Ephangweni Primary School took fourth place. Thabiso from Ephangweni Primary School was the highest goal scorer of the tournament and Sechaba from Zola Primary was player of the tournament.

The organisers and sponsors thank all volunteers, participating school, organisers as well as sponsors for their support in making their tournament a great success. Co-ordinators Mr Khan and Mr Peerbhai thank Moola’s for their generous sponsorship and are hopeful that this could be an annual event.
