On Saturday, 25 October 2014 there was a flurry of activity and excitement at the Primary School’s Volleyball Tournament hosted by the Umtshezi Volleyball Association, at Forderville Primary School grounds. This tournament was a culmination of league games played by learners from surrounding school’s during the course of the year.

A sea, of orange, green, yellow, red, purple and blue created a vibrant atmosphere as participants from the various schools were given colourful T-shirts that were sponsored by Mr Surendra Naidoo, which they proudly wore for the duration of the tournament.

All learners were given snacks and lunch was provided for learners, team managers and officials. Approximately 240 learners and 24 educators attended this tournament. The games played in the Boys O12, Girls O12 and Boys U12 were very competitive as all schools tried outdo one another to be champions for 2014 in the various divisions.
