Over the last two weekends, teams from the Regional Hockey Mixed League visited Utrecht and Dundee.
This allowed many of the teams to grow together, and the chemistry between its members has developed further, allowing for the league to develop smoothly.
Mumbai Magicians cemented their place at the top of the league with an impressive four-game undefeated streak. Currently, they lead the log with a four point advantage over their closest rivals, Delhi Wave Riders.
After falling behind with two losses, the Wave Riders staged an impressive comeback, scoring massively in their following encounters and recovering from the team’s two losses.
With a five-goal difference advantage over the third placed Ranchi Rhinos, the team has taken the first steps to becoming the closest challengers for the league top honours.
Ranchi Rhinos need to improve on their goal scoring if the team want its stake in the league to develop further.
While Kalinga Lancers still hold a two-point and four goal advantage over Punjab Warriors, the Lancers still need to pick up its game, or it will fall to the bottom of the table.
The Warriors, on the other hand, show immense potential, but lack the execution to pull it off. With four losses to the team’s name, it will be hard-pressed to change their current form around. However, the team will need to activate their inner potential.
