Inkanyiso Primary School at the Danone Nations Cup

Every year, 2.5 million children from over 34 000 schools and 11 000 clubs from around the globe take part in local, regional and then national Danone Nations Cup competitions

The Danone Nations Cup is the world’s greatest soccer tournament for children between the ages of 10 and 12 (U12s category); it is organised every year since 2000, an initiative by the Danone group.

Every year, 2.5 million children from over 34 000 schools and 11 000 clubs from around the globe take part in local, regional and then national Danone Nations Cup competitions.

On Saturday, March 7 Inkanyiso Primary School’s under 12’s soccer team made their way to the Mnambithi FET College, Ladysmith.
Inkanyiso Primary won their first match against an under 12 soccer team from Bergville.

Their second game was also won against an under 12 team from Ladysmith. After securing second place, their coach Mr Luthuli was very pleased with the performance of quality football and fair play.
