On Saturday, March 7 a soccer tournament was organised by TNS Entertainment where all local government departments and companies were requested to join. Nine teams were part of the tournament, which was held at Lambert Park.

The Estcourt SAPS team won all their games and eventually the team had to face Masonite in the finals. The SAPS team defeated their opponents by two goals to nil and won themselves a trophy and gold medals. On Thursday, March 12 another tournament was hosted by the Midlands SAPS where all police stations in the Midlands area participated.

The tournament continued until March and the Estcourt SAPS team won all their games opening the gates to the finals facing the Mountain Rise SAPS Team. The Estcourt SAPS team won the final by three goals to nil, scoring themselves another trophy and gold medals.

The Estcourt SAPS Management, especially the Cluster Commander Brigadier Reynders and Estcourt Station Commander Colonel Kheswa wish to thank the Team Organiser Detective Captain Sengwayo and Team Managers Detective Sergeant Ntuli, Detective Constable Myende and all the team players as well as supporters for their dedication and good work and for their victory throughout the tournaments.
