The weekend has arrived! All the District members will gather at Klipbank to compete in the KZNCB Interzone Championships.
The teams will vie for top spot and the sought-after trophy will be the big prize! There will be nerves and high expectations for all those who are participating as it is awesome to be in the winning Zone! This once-a-year get together binds the District players in preparation for their trip to the Provincial Championships.
Good luck and good bowling to Magriet Coetzee, Veronica Malan, Ida Oosthuizen, Barbara Baleri, Janet Barnardo, Melissa Streatfield, Pradeep Singh and Rodney Perrin.
There can be no bigger thrill than playing at that high level of competitive bowls and it’s something to strive for. Go Midlands! The Senior Fours Championship in Harrismith was keenly contested and resulted in a win for Klipbank Ladies team captained by Magriet Coetzee with Ria Mapps of Harrismith team taking runners-up position.
The Mens Section was won by Andre Viviers of Harrismith closely followed by Clyde Newtons of the Klipbank team. Well done KBC.
