Students excel in Jenny Devenish School of Ballet exams

Nanette Botha, examiner for Dance Academy of South Africa, travelled to Volksrust, Newcastle and Dundee to examine studios in the area from May 15 to 19.

Dancers from Jenny Devenish School of Ballet did exceptionally well, with Aldert Brink and Dané Gouws both receiving Distinctions for their Grade 6 ballet exam.

They also received A++ for their National Medal Dance.

The Major girls, who entered Ballet and Modern Medal Dances, passed with flying colours. All seven received A++ certificates.

Major exams took place in Pretoria on Friday, May 26.
