6 schools in Ladysmith compete in Andante Chess Championships
For the first time in five years, Andante won the school trophy
Andante Independent School held its annual Inter-School Chess Championships on Saturday.
Six schools competed for the school and individual trophies.
For the first time in five years, Andante won the school trophy.
The individual trophy for first place was won by Samkelo Madlala of Limit Heights.
Second position went to Mzuzi Mabude, also from Limit Heights, and third position to Samkelo Hlatshwayo of ML Sultan.
